John-Michael is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or contact local emergency services.

What John-Michael is

John-Michael is a daily AI companion built to help you recognize behavioral and emotional patterns rooted in past experience, using a framework informed by published clinical research (attachment theory, family systems theory, trauma research, shame resilience, and logotherapy, among others). It is designed to be used alongside — not instead of — professional mental health care when that care is needed.

Who can use John-Michael

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use John-Michael. It is not designed or marketed for use by minors.

Your responsibilities

You agree to use John-Michael honestly and not to use it for any unlawful purpose. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you share — John-Michael works from what you tell it, and its usefulness depends on your honesty with it, same as any real coaching relationship.

No guarantee of outcomes

John-Michael is built on real clinical research, translated into daily practice. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a licensed professional, and we can't guarantee specific results. If you are experiencing a serious mental health condition, please seek care from a qualified professional.
